FAQ
How do I paint a uniform quickly with it?
Prime the figure white, lay Field Grey on in one pass and let it settle into the folds. Then do the leather, metal and skin with regular acrylics – the uniform is finished in minutes with the folds already in place.
Does Quick Gen need thinning?
No. It is formulated to go straight from the bottle. For a thinner film or a smoother transition use AK Quick Gen Medium 18 ml – water breaks the contrast effect and the paint starts pooling into stains.
Which primer should I use?
White gives the cleanest, most saturated result; bone or light grey mutes it. Quick Gen does not work over black – contrast paints need a light base so the difference between the raised area and the recess can show.
