High Coverage Yellow is the answer to the oldest problem with acrylic yellows – that they do not cover. This one does. Over grey primer one solid coat is enough, over black two, which for a yellow is a remarkable result. The tone is bright, slightly lemony and very light.

Does it really cover black?
In two thin coats, yes. There is no point trying to do it in one thick one – that just leaves a patch. Two thin coats are faster and look better.
What should I shade it with?
An ochre or an orange, never a grey or black. A grey shade turns yellow into dirty green immediately.
How do I thin this paint?
With water or an Ionic thinner. The formula is self-hydrating, so it stays workable on the palette far longer than ordinary acrylics – a drop is enough for brush work, and roughly 1 : 1 for airbrush.
Is the finish really matt?
Yes, it dries matt with no shiny patches. If the figure is going on the gaming table, seal it with a matt varnish at the end.
