FAQ

How do I shade skin with it?
Run it into the creases and under the form transitions only – under the chin, into the eye sockets, between the fingers. The contrast paint stays thicker there by itself, so the shadow builds with no blending.

Does Quick Gen need thinning?
No. It is formulated to go straight from the bottle. For a thinner film or a smoother transition use AK Quick Gen Medium 18 ml – water breaks the contrast effect and the paint starts pooling into stains.

Which primer should I use?
White gives the cleanest, most saturated result; bone or light grey mutes it. Quick Gen does not work over black – contrast paints need a light base so the difference between the raised area and the recess can show.
