FAQ
How do I bring out panel lines with it?
Lay it across the whole part and let it settle – the panel lines darken on their own. To push it further, run it into the lines a second time with a fine brush, in the line only.
Does Quick Gen need thinning?
No. It is formulated to go straight from the bottle. For a thinner film or a smoother transition use AK Quick Gen Medium 18 ml – water breaks the contrast effect and the paint starts pooling into stains.
Which primer should I use?
White gives the cleanest, most saturated result; bone or light grey mutes it. Quick Gen does not work over black – contrast paints need a light base so the difference between the raised area and the recess can show.
