What to combine it with

What scale does it suit?
Everything from a 28 mm figure to a 1:35 vehicle. At small scales apply rust in spots – on a 28 mm figure even a small patch is a huge area in real terms.
Why is Chocolate in the set?
It is the shade recommended as a chipping base: painted under the final colour and revealed by chipping or sponge work. It reads as bare metal where the paint has flaked away.
Can the paints be bought individually?
Yes. These are standard shades from the AK 3rd Generation range in 17 ml bottles, so when one runs out you only replace that one.
Can they be airbrushed?
Yes. Thinned with 3rd Generation thinner they pass through a 0.2 mm nozzle as easily as lacquer paints. Neat, they are meant for brushwork.
