FAQ
How do I use it without everything turning black?
Run it into recesses and seams only, never across a whole panel. Over a large area the red disappears and leaves a dark stain – its strength is darkening a narrow recess without killing the colour beside it.
Does Quick Gen need thinning?
No. It is formulated to go straight from the bottle. For a thinner film or a smoother transition use AK Quick Gen Medium 18 ml – water breaks the contrast effect and the paint starts pooling into stains.
Which primer should I use?
White gives the cleanest, most saturated result; bone or light grey mutes it. Quick Gen does not work over black – contrast paints need a light base so the difference between the raised area and the recess can show.
