FAQ
How do I tell orcs from goblins with a single green?
Paint goblins over white and leave them – they stay lighter. For orcs, add Rotten Green or Space Dark Green into the recesses once dry, which darkens and bulks them up.
Does Quick Gen need thinning?
No. It is formulated to go straight from the bottle. For a thinner film or a smoother transition use AK Quick Gen Medium 18 ml – water breaks the contrast effect and the paint starts pooling into stains.
Which primer should I use?
White gives the cleanest, most saturated result; bone or light grey mutes it. Quick Gen does not work over black – contrast paints need a light base so the difference between the raised area and the recess can show.
