FAQ
How do I paint a whole unit with it quickly?
Prime white, lay Power Blue on with a large brush in a single pass and let it settle. Do the details afterwards with regular acrylics – the contrast paint handles surface and shadow at once.
Does Quick Gen need thinning?
No. It is formulated to go straight from the bottle. For a thinner film or a smoother transition use AK Quick Gen Medium 18 ml – water breaks the contrast effect and the paint starts pooling into stains.
Which primer should I use?
White gives the cleanest, most saturated result; bone or light grey mutes it. Quick Gen does not work over black – contrast paints need a light base so the difference between the raised area and the recess can show.
