FAQ
How do I shade an already painted green with it?
Run it into the recesses and seams with a fine brush and immediately pull the excess away with a dry brush. A contrast paint finds its own way into the right places – the usual mistake is putting on too much.
Does Quick Gen need thinning?
No. It is formulated to go straight from the bottle. For a thinner film or a smoother transition use AK Quick Gen Medium 18 ml – water breaks the contrast effect and the paint starts pooling into stains.
Which primer should I use?
White gives the cleanest, most saturated result; bone or light grey mutes it. Quick Gen does not work over black – contrast paints need a light base so the difference between the raised area and the recess can show.
