FAQ
How is it different from Power Blue?
Ultramarine Blue carries a violet undertone and sits slightly darker; Power Blue is cleaner and lighter. Across large armour panels Ultramarine looks deeper, Power Blue looks livelier.
Does Quick Gen need thinning?
No. It is formulated to go straight from the bottle. For a thinner film or a smoother transition use AK Quick Gen Medium 18 ml – water breaks the contrast effect and the paint starts pooling into stains.
Which primer should I use?
White gives the cleanest, most saturated result; bone or light grey mutes it. Quick Gen does not work over black – contrast paints need a light base so the difference between the raised area and the recess can show.
