Warm Grey is a mid grey with a beige warmth – a grey that does not look alien next to skin and wood. It is one of the most usable greys in the range precisely because it does not fight the warm colours around it.

When do I use Warm Grey and when Neutral Grey?
Warm Grey wherever skin, wood or brown sits next to it. Neutral Grey where metal, blue or a technical surface does.
Can I use it to mute colours?
Yes, and better than black or white. A drop of Warm Grey takes saturation out of a colour without changing its temperature.
How do I thin this paint?
With water or an Ionic thinner. The formula is self-hydrating, so it stays workable on the palette far longer than ordinary acrylics – a drop is enough for brush work, and roughly 1 : 1 for airbrush.
Is the finish really matt?
Yes, it dries matt with no shiny patches. If the figure is going on the gaming table, seal it with a matt varnish at the end.
