Ground after rain – darker than dry soil and with a soft sheen that matt paint cannot reproduce. Wet Ground sits between dry terrain and heavy mud: not yet a quagmire, but clearly soaked. That middle ground is exactly what most European spring and autumn scenes need. Marks can be pressed into the wet paste; a full cure takes 24 hours.

What it is good for

What to combine it with
For full mud move to Terrains Muddy Ground, for dry patches to Terrains Dry Ground. Pour standing water with Puddles and add spray with Splatter Effects Wet Ground. Moss in the shade comes from Moss Texture.
FAQ
Does it stay glossy once cured?
Yes, though less than when wet. For a stronger wet look, gloss-varnish selected spots – not the whole area, real damp is never uniform.
Can it be used on a vehicle?
Yes. A thin layer on running gear and inside fenders reads as soaked grime; leave heavy build-up to Muddy Ground.
How do I clean my tools?
Water, as long as the paste is still wet. Rinse the spatula and the old brush right after use – cured acrylic paste will not come off.
Can the paste be thinned?
Yes, with water or acrylic thinner if you need it to flow better. Thinning costs it some shape retention, so go easy.
