The tone and look of this paste imitate ground soaked after rain – dark and saturated. Reinforce the wet effect with a few puddles and the base instantly tells you the fighting happens in mud and foul weather. It belongs to the Wargame Terrains line, which means a smaller 100 ml pot at a price that suits a wargamer building bases in batches rather than one large diorama.

Pour puddles from Puddles or Still Water and add splashes with Splatter Effects Wet Ground. Build thicker mud from Terrains Muddy Ground; for large areas there is also Terrains Wet Ground 250 ml.
Will the surface be glossy once dry?
The wet look comes mainly from the dark tone. Go over spots that should look freshly wet with gloss varnish, or add a puddle.
How do I clean my tools?
Water, as long as the paste is still wet. Rinse the spatula and the old brush right after use – cured acrylic paste will not come off.
Can the paste be thinned?
Yes, with water or acrylic thinner if you need it to flow better. Thinning costs it some shape retention, so go easy.
